TOM WYLIE has been an accomplished photographer for over 30 years. When you hire a photographer, you want the best. Unfortunately, anyone with a camera can claim to be a professional photographer—so getting the best for the job can be a difficult task. Tom has proven that he has the experience and the expertise you want. In 2001 he was designated a Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) by the Professional Photographers of America. Less than three percent of all imaging professionals have attained this status. Those who have earned the CPP designation have passed a comprehensive written examination measuring their technical expertise, and have successfully submitted their work to a panel of judges for review and approval. They must renew their credentials every five years, thus assuring you that CPPs maintain their level of expertise and continue to develop new skills and techniques.

In addition to the Professional Photographers of America, Tom is a member of the Texas Professional Photographers Association where he holds an Associate Fellowship Degree. In an effort to continually improve his craft he has attended the Texas School of Professional Photography for 20 consecutive years studying under some of the nation’s most respected photography leaders and innovators. Tom earned a bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University and a master's degree from Stephen F. Austin State University.

SUE WYLIE, the better half of the business, is the photo assistant and people person. She books the weddings and appointments. She discusses what you should wear and expect during your photo session. She picks out the backgrounds and props so they will compliment your attire and personality. She will do just about anything to get a good expression and to make the experience fun. When you look at your images she will help you pick the best image when her opinion is sought (her opinion is free). At the wedding, she coordinates the sequence of photography to insure that your wedding is on time and goes smoothly. She and Tom work well together and are often complimented on their fine tuning and professionalism.
